ReplyDelete1.Hale's questions were a little good he was asking if they really did believe in god and jesus and he asked them if they knew the ten commandments to see if their not lying about their belief!
ReplyDelete1. I think that hale is misplaced with his words, it seems like he is just trying to plot an excuse on them so they will slip and fall to tell him something he wants to hear. No not really because anyone can lie, like tituba and abigail did. Who is to say that a word of which they speak is the truth.
ReplyDelete2.Im not to sure on how to awnser this, but i think the lies in act 2, are more exagerate than act 1. Because not only now are they lying about dirty dancing and witch craft, but they are lying about seeing the devil with simple people. I feel that all the lies and false truths will add up to a big conflict. Which i cannot wait to see (: !!!
1.I think that the questions were very unrealling and didnt make any sence to me and it was stupid to me.
ReplyDelete2.It is revealed that its really dumb because they were just saying names so they could get them selfes out of trouble.
2.Their are people in Acts 1 and 2 who lie all the time the girls. The people who tell the truth are townpeople like elizabeth and john because they are want to tell the truth they have nothing to hide. although people who are accused lie sometimes so that they won't be hanged, it's what everybody does innocent or guilty they all lie to cover a secret or stretch the truth!
ReplyDelete1. i think that hales questions to the procters were bad because the way that the procters were answering them should have immediatly told him that they were telling the truth and that the girls were lying about elizabeth being a witch but he had already came to a decision and he was trying to get elizabeth to say she was a witch like titubia had to make his opinion correct.
ReplyDelete2. the truth was spoken in act 1 until the end when titubia told hale that she was a witch and then the girls started to act up. act 2 was full of lies because hale thought that elizabeth was a witch and the girls were telling the truth.
1. i think that they are a little personal. i think that his methods are a little strage but thats all they had to go by back in the day to go by.
ReplyDelete2.they are different and similar in ways. one way that is differnet is the way the girls are acting and hoe they talk about other people.the ways they are similar are how they all act when the adults are not around.abigal i think acts the same when the adults are around and when they are not around.
i think that hales questions were pretty good because he got what he wanted out of them.i think his methods of uncovering the devils work seems valid to because they can acusally work to the real non witches.
ReplyDelete1)Hale asked some really good questons because he mostly got all hes questions answered. i do think that the methods of the devils work actually does work.
ReplyDelete1) no i think if hale wanted to uncover the doings of the devil in the proctor house he should of been more sneaky and be more discret but he just flat out came out and ask hey you guys worshiping the devil here? and the proctors simply denined him and wouldnt tell him anything so i think his approch could of been better
ReplyDelete2. I think the lies in act 2 relate to the lies and act 1 because they just keep lying about the same thing and even more of the truth are revealed in act 2 and there are more confessions but yet still more lies
