1. He was just trying to entertain the modern masses with the stupidity of the olden peoples' thoughts and ideas.
ReplyDelete2. The Judge is adament; he doesn't EVER change his mind about any of the accused.
Hale is dynamic; he finally realized that Abigail was lying and sided against her.
3. I would see myself as being more Hale-ish, as he is smart enough to realize that Abigail is a fraud.
4. Things like this( sayig that anything against the 'main' religeon is against the law) happens in everyday life.
5. Hale: How exactly did you realize that Abigial was lying..?
6. I liked it, because it was an event that happened, but the director made it seem like another work of fiction. Good: When Abigail ran away. Bad: When Jon Proctor and Goody Nurse died...
1. he is traying to tell us that bad things can happen to good and inocent people in the world.
ReplyDelete2. the static person on this play is the judge becaus if he shows the people that he made a mistake thay might hang him too,the person capable of gtowth is mrs procter

To show how crazy the teenagers were in salem back then, and how they did it back then how people got killed, and why they got killed, and how crazy the teenagers were back then, and how easy the judge was to believe the teenagers.
ReplyDelete2. abigal and john and and rev. harris are unchanging. because rev hale changed through the play he didn't believe them at first but then he was like oh my gosh they are right they are faking!
3. John Proctor because he is a cute man, and he sticks up for what he believes in and he dies with his faith, he does with his head up! he did not back down
4. Because people think that witches are really real and their not so they need to stop thinking that it is real, because it's not.
5. prolly Abigail, are you seriously stupid? i want to hang you, because you are crazy! why did you do this? do you feel bad? she did some messed up things that were really wrong. She made overall like 26 people get hanged and that is crazy!
6. I really did like this play, the ending did make me kinda of mad, i did like all the acting it was a good play, i liked reading it and watching it. it was CRAZY
1) I think that Miller is trying to give the message that the Salem witch trials were wrong and bad.
ReplyDelete2) I think that Proctor stays the same and that Hale changes during the play.
3) I think that I most identify with Elizabeth because she stands up for what she belives in.
4) I think the play is universally popular because the way it shows the Salem witch trials in a way that it is not boring to see and it shows what really happen in the Salem witch trials.
5) Why did they go so far in the killing?
6) I didnt like the play because of the thing between Abigail and John Proctor and because of the witch trails themselfs. I give it a 3 because it was a good play even if I think didnt like it.
#1 i think the message he was trying to make is that there really was not any witches and all the people were dumb for believing that there were. i think this because john and the two other girls were praying at the end.
ReplyDelete#2 i think john and his wife are static because he decided to not give up his name just to live.
#3 i identify abagail the most because she is the most vile one and kills inocent people.
#4 i think the blame of witche craft and hanging of witches makes this play so popular. because of the inocent people being killed and there land taken from them for no reason and that it happend in real life.
#5 i would want to ask abagail why she was so crazy to threaten the other girls and bring them farther into the drama? id ask this because i wanna know the reason for it.
#6 i liked it because it was based on real life facts. some good parts was when john almost got abagail in trouble. some bad parts were when everybody was being hanged. i would give give this play a four because it was pretty good.
1:)I think that in act four Miller was tryiung to give the impression that the salem witch craft trials were mostly made out of personal reasons instead of actual facts and evidence. I believe he was trying to show that the people who were killed in this tragic event were actually innocent and that they didnt deserve to be hanged.I think he showed also just how much peer pressure can cause.
ReplyDelete2:)In this play I believe that charcters such as Abby and Rev.Paris are the static charcters because they always remain the same the start out with bad intentions only looking out for them selves and thats the same in the end. Also I believe that the most dynamic charcters are John and Rev. Hale John ultimatly learn to forgive him self while Hale begins to realize the horror he has taken place in.
3:)I Identify most with Rev. Hale because i tend to always try to Help others and often end up causing something i would have never intended to cause. I tend to have good intentions in mind but sometimes let things spin out of control but i will always try to help any time i think someone needs it.
4:)I think the thing that makes this play so universal is that everyone has secrets to hide and everyone is always in fear of going agianst the crowed. And often it is hard for people to stand up for what they think is right when so many people are constantly pushing them to be silent.
5:)If i could ask anyone character a question i think i would ask abigail how she could be so heartless and crule and watch as she single handly killed so many innocents. how she could be so selfish to allow so much bloodshed just for a guy who didnt want her.
6:)I really do like this play alot i believe that it shows the weaknesses that are in everyone and expresses just how far people are willing to go to get what they want.My favorite part was the end when They said the lords prayer as the were pushed of the scaffold as a crowd stood crying knowing all the innocent deaths they had helped cause and knowing once and for all they were wrong.I also liked when Rev. Hale asked john to sign his LIE pointing out how he now knew it was no longer the truth.I would give this movie 5 stars if i were to rate it.
1.That even though the court hung John for witchcraft, and Abigail running away after blaming the ministers wife. Everyone felt bad afterwards for killing people that had nothing to do with witchcraft. Before John died, he said the lord's prayer. Which witches couldnt do. So that tells you something too.
ReplyDelete2. Static characters in the play are John and Abigail, they go by what they said from the beginning. Dynamic characters would be Mr.Hale and Elizabeth.
3. Mr. Hale because after John and Eliabeth were accused he finally understoood that the girls were just full of it. John is alright too, he stood in what he beileved in the whole time.
4.I think that this story is so popular because its based off of true events.
5.I want to know why the Court beileved the girls and why they never tried to listen to both sides of stories they got. It wasnt a fair trail.
6.Overall I really didnt like this play just because of Abigail and her stupid follows, I would have hung them, not only because they were lying, Id hang them because they freaked out WAY too much. The bad parts where the hanging scenes. The good part were, when the movie was over. Id give this movie 2 stars out of 5 because I really didnt enjoy it at all.
1. The message that i think Miller was trying to give about the witch trials were how messed up the courts were. The rules that they had were rediculous. So many innocent people were hanged because of one girl.
ReplyDelete2. I think Giles is the static character in this play because he was being pressed to death and the only thing that he said was more weight. No matter what he wouldnt change his answer. Reverned Hale is the dynamic character because he was agianst the practors then at the end he tries to convince him to lie just to spare his life. To go against what he believes in to save his own life.
3. I like John the best. He dies for what he believes in. He has faith in God and he basically dies for him.
4.This play is so popular because of the story it portrays. So many innocent people died because of lies that were told by teenagers. The court belived rediculous accusations by kids then believeing adults.
5. Abigail williams- How could you let sooo many innocent people die for something that you just made up?? I want to know this because its just something that i cant even imagine doing. I cant understand how she could let this happen.
6. I liked this play. I hated tha story but i loved tha story. I hate how much drama is in it. All these problems because of lies little girls spread. The ending was sad. I hated how gave up his life, but i respect him for it. i Would give it 4 stars! :)
1 to tell how bad the teens were in those days just cause they didnt realise how serious they take there relidues belives
ReplyDelete2 procture stay firm with what he says and belives through out the whole time tell he dies.
hale does change though in what he said that there is wiches in salem.
3 elizabeth stands in with what she belives in anb is vary careing.
4 because its about wiches and proving that there is no such thing as wiches.
5 why did they go to death sentence?
6 i didnt like the play because the good inucent people die.
1. how they hanged people just because they believe they were which and no because they proved.
ReplyDelete2. the jues because even when he knows abigail run away he just keep going and hanged innocent people. rv. hale because he tried to tell everybody the girls were lyng.
3.
4. because is a true story
