I think that Miller was trying to say that justice is not always served even though some of the towns people have evidance about not being a witch and that everyone in the world is naive and will believe anything that is false and will take someone else side even though they my be wrong
ReplyDelete1. miller was trying to say that even in a first showed good town like salem, turn into madness with beliefs and problems like devil worshipers, and an affair with an married man! Can tear people against each other and can destroy the town with madness and ends with hangings!
ReplyDelete2) Hale and John never change through out the movie they stay true to what they believe in and the prosecute against the girls and what salem believes in for the greater good, and Elizabeth and Paris can grow on the is elizabeth finally found out that she can change and not put no more shame on her husband and their name and paris can see that he is not almighty and does have weak spots in the hearts of the people of salem
ReplyDelete3) I can identify towards jhon because he gives into nothing and fights for what he believes in and will not spoil his name for someone elses demand and that he wont take no ones crap.
ReplyDelete2. The static character John because no matter what happened with the madness he stook with his beliefs and died in his pride even though he made a mistake by having an affair and he stayed strong by confessing to the court the truth and saying sorry to his wife and that he loves her. The dynamic character is parris because from all of this madness and town hangings with the down going down he should have used this tradegy to grow to become a better person and treat people better and to be a better person!
ReplyDelete1.I guess what he was trying to say was that you cant always believe in the court or just by what someone says becasue it won't always be true.
ReplyDelete2.hmm the people in the play that i think are static is john proctor and abigail because they act the same through the whole play they stick to there stories and stand by what they say. The characters that are dynamic are elizebeth becasue she seems like she acan grow in morer into her character.
3.Abigail i identify her the most casue you can tell what role she is playing in the story.
4. I think what makles this play so popular is all if the twists and drama that goes on in it. Like the affair and all of the lies.
5.Judge why woulkdnt you just let john, rebecca nurse ,and martha live becasue after abigail ran away after that it was obvious that she was lieing about everything and tjhe girls where just going along with it. now that little girl has made you look like a girl.
6.It was an alright play. The parts that I like is when the girls where dancing in the forest the part that i didnt like is when abigail ran away and john and the other two people got hanged. I rate this 3 stars casue i didnt like the ending and some of the actors didnt do a very good job.
1.That alot of people died for a uneccory cause so yeah.
ReplyDelete2.abigal is static because she kept the same lie going on the whole time and then john proctor is dynamic because changed in act 3.
3.I understand john procotor the most because he wanted 2 keep his name and loved his wife.
4.bewcause there is diversity and there confretation.
5.John proctor why did u take the death
6.Yes i liked the play.It was great there was diversity and it was all great
4) because it shows how one person or a group of people can change the minds and thoughts and basically brain wash people into believing anything and because it shows how vunerable america was and that amerca was not always powerful, showed how much knowledge we lacked into being a free country and it shows how religious people used to be and how different it is now and how scared people were of the devil.
ReplyDelete3. I cna identify towards Elizabeth because even though her husband cheated on her she still stayed there and let him confess to it. where she lied to the court of her husband's affair to protect her husband that she loves and she stayed true to him to the end!
ReplyDelete4. because witches are popular and it really happened in time to these people in this village that shows what peoples true beliefs can do to you and if you belief in something that is bad people can hate you and hang you back then!
ReplyDelete5) I would ask Abigal why she did what she did to john and why she pushed her acussing so far and why she desired john so much she was young and he was married and besides the fact to get john single why she hated elizabeth so much
ReplyDelete1. i think that the message that miller was trying to give about the witch trials in his description of salem is that it was not good because he was trying to show that if the people who were accused of being witches would be hung in front of the people of salem and they would laugh at them. if the accused said that they were witches they would be freed but they would be put down by the people of salem.
ReplyDelete2. the characters of this play who don't change through out this play is the judge who even though he should have known the accused weren't witches and they were innocent he still believed that the girls were telling the truth. and abigail didnt change through out the story because she wanted john and was willing to lie to get him and then she lied about him when he turned her down.
3. i identify with hale the most because i follow what i believe in the most and try to help people if its a good idea.
4. the play is popular so much because it shows how people can believe in one person even though it should be odvious that they are lying and they dont care if people are killed for what they think is true. and it shows interesting things that have happened in history.
5. i would ask abigail a deep question. why did she accuse all of the innocent people she did, and did she feel bad about knowing all the people that died because of this just because she wanted john procter? because i want to know if she did even though i know she wouldnt feel bad about the things that she did.
6. i liked this story because i enjoy learning about things that happened during history and this story tells about an important event that happened in history. i would give it a 5 because it really was a good story.
1) to show how far people would go by trying to save there own lives and they will go and do the most crazy things for love. I can't really explain it i dont kno how to word it but i do know what message he was trying to give. people can be so blind.
ReplyDelete5. Elizabeth
ReplyDeletehow did you feel when you heard about your husband's affair betrayed unloved? Did you feel alone in the world to raise your children alone after John died? Because she was a strong woman who loved her husband and stook up for him!
6) I liked the play because of the plot and how they correlated things like hopw people acted back then the religious freedom people sought out and how if you didnt go to church every sunday you worshiped the devil but the thing that suprised me the most was how scared and frustrated america was back in the earlier days.
ReplyDelete1) i think that the message miller was trying to give aboout the witch trials by his portrayal of salem was that you have to stick to what you beleive in and not what other people tell you to.
ReplyDelete2)i think that abigail would be a person that would change because she was close to changing at the time she left. john was a character that would never change because he sticks to what he believe in.
3)john because he goes through alot of hard things durning his life but in the end he does what he should do.
4)it has something that has a little something for everyone.
5)the person that i would ask a question to would be abigail beacuse she did some crazy stuff the question i would ask would be why did she do in the first place she knew she wasnt gonna get with john because he had a family.
6)i really like this play it wasnt boring. i really like the part when john gets hanged becuase he stuck to what he beleived in.a bad part was the judge beliveing the girls. i would rank this a 5.
6. It was a good play because it had it's good moments and it's bad moments inspired and written about a true place and events with it's actual people involved. The bad parts was when people were accused and trialed, and hanged even though they were innocent but I really liked how no matter what it meant for them like death they didn't confess and stuck to their beliefs that shows true commitment to god and what they believe. And the other bad was when the girls confessed and lied and that showed who the real witches, and devil worshipers are the bad group of girls who started all this madness, and who are responsible for the many lost lies due to their actions!
ReplyDelete2) i think john is a unchanging character becuase he stuck with what he believe in and he never changed. i think parris is a character that is capable of growth.
ReplyDelete3)i think john because he has been through so much then other people in the village
1. i think that miller was trying to say that witch craft is something that you should not mess with back in 1692.
ReplyDelete2.i think that one of the people in the play that is unchanging is johns wife because she has the same face and moos through out the play.and a nother person that has a changing mood in the play is abigail becasue she can switch from mean to nice to scared and to confused.
3. i think that the person i can identify the most is john because he his a person that trys to fix the peoblems.
4. i think that this has what it takw to be universally popualer because it has a lot of sapention and conflice
5. john why did you have sex with abigal
6.i loved this play dispite the fact i couldnt reamber the last part. but i loved the beginning.
